== Biography == He graduated from the Philosophical School at the University of Vienna in Paleontology on 21 March 1921, with the academic degree 'Dr. phil.' (dissertation: 'Über die Temporalregion des Schildkrötenschädels').<ref name=gedenkbuch/>
