Nowferest (Persian: نوفرست)[a] is a village in Baqeran Rural District[4] of the Central District in Birjand County, South Khorasan province, Iran.

Demographics

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 353 in 137 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 779 people in 272 households.[6] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 497 people in 178 households.[2]
