At the delayed 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo, held in 2021, she won gold in the women's 50 metre rifle three-position and bronze in the women's 10 metre air rifle, becoming the first Swiss woman to win an Olympic gold medal in shooting. At the 2023 European Games she won three gold medals and a silver. Christen retired from competitive shooting in 2025.
==Shooting career== Christen joined the junior squad of the Swiss Shooting Federation in 2009. At the 2016 Summer Olympics, Christen finished 16th in the women's 10 metre air rifle. In 2019 she won her first ISSF World Cup medal at the Delhi World Cup, taking gold in the 50 metre three-position rifle.
