Nguruka is an administrative ward in Uvinza District of Kigoma Region in Tanzania. The ward covers an area of 138 km2 (53 sq mi),[1] and has an average elevation of 1,062 m (3,484 ft).[2] In 2016 the Tanzania National Bureau of Statistics report there were 29,916 people in the ward, from 27,179 in 2012.[3][4]: 127[5]: 151
