'''Neville William Shaw''' (born 4 October 1964) is a former Australian rules footballer who played with Collingwood in the Victorian Football League (VFL).<ref>{{cite book|last1=Holmesby|first1=Russell|last2=Main|first2=Jim|title=The Encyclopedia Of AFL Footballers| publisher=BAS Publishing|year=2007|isbn=9781920910785}}</ref>
Shaw, a Keon Park Stars recruit, was the youngest of three brothers to play for Collingwood. Ray Shaw, 10 years older, had finished his Collingwood career by the time Neville came to the club but he did get to play with his other brother Tony.
Not picked for the opening two rounds of the 1984 season, Shaw made his debut against Essendon at Windy Hill and was a regular fixture for the rest of the year, with his only stint on the sidelines being because of a two-week suspension, for striking Hawthorn's Russell Shields.<ref name=AFLTables>[http://afltables.com/afl/stats/players/N/Neville_Shaw.html AFL Tables: Neville Shaw]</ref><ref>''The Age'',[https://news.google.com/newspapers?id=gDRVAAAAIBAJ&sjid=5JQDAAAAIBAJ&pg=5442,6494977 "Cahill - we can do it"], 12 June 1984, p. 42</ref><ref>''Canberra Times'',[http://nla.gov.au/nla.news-article127002405 "VFL considers fine for Footscray's umpire criticism"], 14 June 1984, p. 30</ref> His 20 appearances in 1984 included three finals.<ref name=AFLTables/>
In 1985 he missed two weeks after being injured in a car accident and another five when he dislocated his shoulder, but Shaw still managed to put together 15 games.<ref name=AFLTables/><ref>''The Age'',[https://news.google.com/newspapers?id=w1VVAAAAIBAJ&sjid=VpUDAAAAIBAJ&pg=3996,736702 "Irish Demon gets his chance"], 17 May 1985, p. 28</ref><ref>''The Age'',[https://news.google.com/newspapers?id=i1BVAAAAIBAJ&sjid=iJUDAAAAIBAJ&pg=6677,8682103 "Cloke to resume in two weeks"], 30 July 1985, p. 48</ref>
Shaw played in the first eight rounds of the 1986 season, then tore a cruciate ligament in his right knee, which ruled him out for the rest of the year.<ref name=AFLTables/><ref>''The Age'',[https://news.google.com/newspapers?id=jO5UAAAAIBAJ&sjid=o5IDAAAAIBAJ&pg=2156,4795403 "Brereton to miss night clash"], 19 May 1986, p. 30</ref> He wouldn't play again for Collingwood.<ref name=AFLTables/>
He finished the decade at West Adelaide, where he won back to back club Best and Fairest awards in 1988 and 1989.<ref name=AFLTables/><ref>{{cite web| url=http://www.westadelaidefc.com.au/HISTORY/HONOUR_TABLE.aspx| title=Honour Table (1951 - Today)| publisher=West Adelaide Football Club| url-status=dead| archiveurl=https://web.archive.org/web/20100522043243/http://www.westadelaidefc.com.au/HISTORY/HONOUR_TABLE.aspx| archivedate=22 May 2010| df=dmy-all}}</ref>
In 1992 and 1993, Shaw coached Lavington in the Ovens & Murray Football League, winning a Best and Fairest in each those years.<ref>''The Border Mail'',[http://www.bordermail.com.au/story/24372/warrant-for-shaw/ "Warrant for Shaw"], 16 August 2006</ref><ref>{{cite web|url=http://lpfnc.com.au/about-us/honour-roll/| title=Honour Roll - Football| publisher=Lavington Panthers Football & Netball Club}}</ref>
