The inlet separates [[Baffin Island]] to the west from [[Bylot Island]] to the east, making it part of the [[Sirmilik National Park]]. There are a few islands within Navy Board Inlet, including the [[Wollaston Islands (Nunavut)|Wollaston Islands]].
