'''Mount Taylor Conservation Park''' is a [[protected area]] in the Australian state of [[South Australia]] located on [[Kangaroo Island]] in the gazetted locality of [[Newland, South Australia|Newland]].<ref name="PLB"/> It was dedicated in 1970 primarily for the conservation of the rare [[Stylidium|triggerplant]] ''Stylidium tepperianum''.<ref name=mp/>

==Description== The conservation park has an area of {{convert|18|ha|abbr=off}}. It lies near the eastern end of [[Flinders Chase National Park]], about {{convert|10|km|abbr=off}} south-east of [[American River, South Australia|American River]] and {{convert|13|km|abbr=off}} north-west of [[Vivonne Bay, South Australia (locality)|Vivonne Bay]] on the southern coast of the island. It encompasses Mount Taylor, a large rounded hill. The conservation park's vegetation is mostly an open [[shrubland|scrubland]] and [[heath]] of ''[[Eucalyptus diversifolia]]'', ''[[Eucalyptus baxteri|E. baxteri]]'' and ''[[Eucalyptus cosmophylla|E. cosmophylla]]'', over ''[[Acacia myrtifolia]]'' and ''[[Pultenaea aceroa]]''. It contains small patches of ''[[Eucalyptus leucoxylon|E. leucoxylon]]'' / ''[[Eucalyptus cladocalyx|E. cladocalyx]]'' [[woodland]].
