Mina Sue Choi of South Korea crowned Drita Ziri of Albania as her successor at end of the event. This edition was the first time Albania has won the pageant, and its first crown in the Big Four beauty pageants. At 18 years and 210 days, Ziri became the youngest winner of Miss Earth.
