==Career== After the dismissal of [[Saipa F.C.|Saipa]] head coach [[Majid Saleh]] in February 2012, he was appointed as the club's head coach on 1 March 2012 and signed a contract until the end of upcoming season.<ref>{{cite web|url=http://tehrantimes.com/sports/95559-majid-saleh-sacked-by-saipa|title=Majid Saleh sacked by Saipa|date=18 February 2012|work=Tehran Times|access-date=4 March 2012|archive-url=https://archive.today/20120716113625/http://tehrantimes.com/sports/95559-majid-saleh-sacked-by-saipa|archive-date=16 July 2012|url-status=dead}}</ref> On 15 May 2012, Mojtaba Taghavi agreed to extend his contract with Saipa to the end of 2012–13 season. He left the team at the end of the season after finished 9th.
