Yasothon representatives have yet to obtain any placement in the [[Miss Grand Thailand]] national competition.
==History== In 2016, after [[Miss Grand Thailand]] began franchising the provincial competitions to individual organizers, who would name seventy-seven provincial titleholders to compete in the national pageant. The license for [[Yasothon province]] was granted to an event organizer led by Preemart Hemathulin,<ref name=2016pd/> who was also the licensee for other 4 [[Isan]] contests, including {{ill|Miss Grand Maha Sarakham|th|มิสแกรนด์มหาสารคาม|lt=Maha Sarakham}}, {{ill|Miss Grand Surin|th|มิสแกรนด์สุรินทร์|lt=Surin}}, [[Miss Grand Nakhon Phanom|Nakhon Phanom]], and {{ill|Miss Grand Amnat Charoen|th|มิสแกรนด์อำนาจเจริญ|lt=Amnat Charoen}}.<ref name=2016venue/> The first Miss Grand Yasothon was co-organized with the four mentioned contests on May 24, 2016, in [[Mueang Maha Sarakham district|Mueang Maha Sarakham]],<ref name=2016venue/> where a business management student Patcharee Khunkaew ({{lang|th|พัชรี คุณแก้ว}}) was named Miss Grand Yasothon.<ref name=2016winner/>
In the early years, the pageant was always co-organized with other provincial pageants.<ref name=2016venue/><ref name=2017co/><ref name=2018threeprovinces/><ref name=2019venue/><ref name=4esan2020/> It became a stand-alone pageant in 2023<ref name=2023venue/> under the directorship of Akarapol Waengwan ({{lang|th|อัครพล แวงวรรณ}}).<ref name=pd2023/>
