Trang's representatives have never won the main title since the first competition in the [[Miss Grand Thailand]] pageant in 2016. The highest placement obtained by them is the top 20 finalists; won in 2016 and 2017 by Wannasai Paksee and Phattharamalin Nasawasd, respectively.<ref name=result16/><ref name=resnat17/>
==History== In 2016, after [[Miss Grand Thailand]] began franchising the provincial competitions to individual organizers, who would name seventy-seven provincial titleholders to compete in the national pageant, the license for [[Trang province]] from 2016 to 2019 was granted to a local medical doctor, Yuttana Sitapakpuranan ({{lang|th|ยุทธนา ศิตภัคปุรานันท์}}),<ref name=winner17/><ref name=2018pdf/> who organized the first contest of Miss Grand Trang on 10 April 2016; however, the winner later resigned from the title and the replacement was then assigned.<ref name=2016ven/><ref name=2016winner/>
