Fenton Hort examined Catholic epistles. C. R. Gregory saw it in 1886.<ref name = Gregory/> In 1908 Gregory gave for it number 398.<ref name = GregoryII>{{Cite book | last = Gregory | first = Caspar René | author-link = Caspar René Gregory | title = Die griechischen Handschriften des Neuen Testament | publisher = J.C.
