{{Short description|Defunct Austrian trade union}} The '''Metal-Textile-Food Union''' ({{langx|de|Gewerkschaft Metall-Textil-Nahrung}}, GMTN) was a trade union representing workers in manufacturing, mining, and agriculture in Austria.
The union was founded on 10 May 2006, when the Metal-Textile Union merged with the Union of Agriculture, Food and Allied Industries. The two unions had been working closely together for some time, sharing offices in Vienna from 2002, and using a joint website from the start of 2006.<ref name="ots">{{cite news |title=Gewerkschaften Metall - Textil und Agrar-Nahrung-Genuss fusionieren im Mai 2006 |url=https://www.ots.at/presseaussendung/OTS_20060426_OTS0165/gewerkschaften-metall-textil-und-agrar-nahrung-genuss-fusionieren-im-mai-2006 |accessdate=17 January 2020 |agency=Austria Press Agency |date=26 April 2006}}</ref>
Like its predecessors, the union affiliated to the Austrian Trade Union Federation. The union initially had 230,000 members, and was led by Erich Foglar.<ref name="ots" /><ref>{{cite news |title=GMTN: A new union emerges in Austria |url=http://www.iuf.org/news_from_affiliates/2007/01/gmtn_a_new_union_emerges_in_au.html |accessdate=17 January 2020 |work=IUF |date=14 January 2007}}</ref>
