The former open parking lot was closed on early 2016 and fencing activities later followed. Ground-breaking activities for the construction of the tower began in March 2016. Piling works for the foundations of the tower began in September 2016. The tower was topped off in March 2020 and construction works slowed down due to the implementation of community quarantines in the country caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
