==Country== The Mbewum had an estimated {{convert|600|mi2|km2}} of tribal domain territory on the [[Watson River (Queensland)|Upper Watson River]], which included Merluna{{sfn|Tindale|1974|p=181}} in the area 120 miles south-east of [[Weipa]].
