==Career== Shurtleff was the Deputy County Attorney and a Commissioner of Salt Lake County and later became an Assistant Attorney General for the state of Utah.{{citation needed|date=February 2016}} Shurtleff was elected Attorney General in November 2000, and re-elected in 2004 and 2008.
