'''''Magnolia wolfii''''' is a tree species in the family Magnoliaceae. It is endemic to Colombia. The species is recorded only from one locality in Risaralda Department.<ref name="iucn status 11 November 2021" /> The species is being investigated by a conservation and propagation research program implemented by the Technological University of Pereira, with the support of Botanic Gardens Conservation International.<ref name=jm>{{cite news |author=Johanna Molano |title=A la vanguardia en manejo de magnolias |language=Spanish |url=http://eldiario.com.co/seccion/EDICION+DOMINICAL/a-la-vanguardia-en-manejo-de-magnolias100701.html |date=April 27, 2010 |newspaper=El Diario del Otún (electronic edition) |access-date=17 March 2013}}</ref>

In August 2006 scientists visited the small two hectare patch of forest where ''M. wolfii'' was known to grow. They found the area to be girded on all sides by plantations of coffee, and only three adult trees growing there, apparently bearing flowers and fruits, but no saplings.<ref name=cicuzza, etal>{{cite web |author1=Daniele Cicuzza |author2=Adrian Newton |author3=Sara Oldfield |name-list-style=amp |title=''The Red List of Magnoliaceae'' |page=43 |publisher=FFI |year=2007 |location=Cambridge, UK |url=http://www.bgci.org/files/Media_Kit/magnolia_red_list_.pdf |access-date=March 17, 2013}}</ref>
