'''''Lyssomanes''''' is a spider genus of the family Salticidae (jumping spiders), ranging from South and Central America, up to the southern United States.<ref name="WSC_g2749"/>
There have been described 93 extant and two fossil species<ref name="Wunderlich237"/> from the Neotropical Region. The genera ''Lyssomanes'', ''Chinoscopus'', ''Hindumanes'', and ''Sumakuru'' make up the Lyssomaninae, which is one of the six deeply-diverging subfamilies of jumping spiders.<ref>{{cite journal |last1=Galvis |first1=William |title=The genus Lyssomanes (Araneae: Salticidae: Lyssomaninae) in Mexico: a new species, new taxonomic notes and records |journal=Peckhamia |date=11 July 2020 |volume=212 |issue=1 |pages=1–13 |url=https://peckhamia.com/peckhamia/PECKHAMIA_212.1.pdf }}</ref>
