==Description== ''Lithothamnion glaciale'' grows as an encrusting, chalky thallus, deep reddish in colour and up to 20cm in diameter and 4mm thick. ==Habitat== Lithothamnion glaciale are present in coralline algae beds in many regions of the Arctic.
