==Club career== After one season in [[KIF Örebro DFF|KIF Örebro]]'s Damallsvenskan team, 18-year-old Dahlkvist signed for national champions [[Umeå IK]] in December 2005. She found the adjustment to a higher standard of football difficult and was close to quitting Umeå on several occasions during the first two seasons.<ref>{{cite news|last1=Röshammar|first1=Martin|title=Lisa dribblar mot London|url=http://arbetet.se/2012/05/11/lisa-dribblar-mot-london/|access-date=8 July 2014|work=Arbetet|date=11 May 2012|language=sv}}</ref> After settling into the team Dahlkvist developed into one of Sweden's best central midfielders, winning three Damallsvenskan titles with the club.<ref>{{cite web|title=Lisa Dahlkvist lämnar Umeå IK|url=http://www.folkbladet.nu/163857/lisa-dahlkvist-lamnar-umea-ik|publisher=Folkbladet|access-date=8 July 2014|language=sv|date=17 December 2009|archive-date=3 April 2018|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20180403174356/https://www.folkbladet.nu/163857/lisa-dahlkvist-lamnar-umea-ik|url-status=dead}}</ref>
