Some apocryphal material about Joseph the spouse Maria's was added by a later hand.<ref name = Gregory/>

Scrivener and Gregory dated the manuscript to the 12th century.<ref name = Gregory/> It is presently assigned by the INTF to the 12th century.<ref name = Aland/><ref name = INTF/>
The manuscript was added to the list of New Testament manuscripts by Scrivener (number 174<sup>e</sup>) and Gregory (number 268<sup>e</sup>). Gregory saw the manuscript in 1886.<ref name = Gregory/>
