==Playing career== Adingono played basketball at the University of Rhode Island from 1999 to 2003. In the 2002–03 season, Adingono was a co-captain and finished third on the team in scoring, with 11.8 points per game. ==Coaching career== Adingono coached the men's national team at the 2007 and 2009 FIBA Africa Championships. From 2006 to 2009, Adingono was an assistant coach for the Canisius Golden Griffins. In April 2009, Adingono left Canisius.
Adingono is an uncle of team Cameroon and Petro Atlético player Parfait Bitee.
From May 2012 until September 2020, Adingono was the head coach of Angolan side Petro Atlético. With Petro, he won one African continental title and two league titles.
