Larry Lavender

== Biography == Lavender did not begin training in dance until he was a college student.<ref name= carolinian>{{cite web|url=https://carolinianuncg.com/2014/11/06/faces-of-uncg-larry-lavender/|title=Faces of UNCG, Larry Lavender|last=carolinianweb|date=6 November 2014}}</ref> He has a Master of Fine Arts degree in dance from the University of California, Irvine and a Ph.D. in dance education from New York University.
