== International career == Hussein made his international debut at the age of 17 in 1986. He played in the [[Football at the 1988 Summer Olympics|1988 Olympics]] in Seoul and helped [[Iraq national football team|Iraq]] win the [[AFC Youth Championship|Asian Youth Championship]] in Doha.
