She is a regular collaborator with The Wachowskis and was the costume designer of their films ''The Matrix trilogy'', ''Speed Racer'', ''Cloud Atlas'' and ''Jupiter Ascending''.

Kym Barrett started her career working in theatre for eight years before she began working in film.
