The '''Kuanda''' ({{langx|ru|Куанда}}), also known as '''Konda''', is a river in Zabaykalsky Krai, southern East Siberia, Russia. It is {{convert|196|km}} long, and has a drainage basin of {{convert|6530|km2}}.<ref name=gvr>{{GVR|239619|Река Конда (Куанда)}}</ref>
The river flows across sparsely inhabited areas of the Kalarsky District.<ref name="STM"/><ref name="GЕ">Google Earth</ref>
==Course== The Kuanda is a right tributary of the Vitim. Its sources are in lake Leprindokan at the feet of the Kalar Range, one of the subranges of the Stanovoy Highlands. The river flows in a roughly western direction in a narrow valley across mountainous terrain. Then the valley widens and the river flows within a {{convert|9|km|abbr=on}} to {{convert|11|km|abbr=on}} wide tectonic basin. Its floodplain is swampy. Downstream from the mouth of the Namarakit, it flows through a narrow gorge with steep over {{convert|300|m|abbr=on}} high banks. Finally it meets the right bank of the Vitim {{convert|705|km|mi}} from its mouth in the Lena. The confluence of the Kuanda is just a little downstream from the mouth of the Muya in the opposite bank of the Vitim.<ref name="STM">{{cite web|url=https://maps.vlasenko.net/smtm1000/o-50.jpg|title=O-50 Chart (in Russian)|access-date=12 July 2023}}</ref><ref name="ETB">{{cite web |title=Куанда, река|publisher=Энциклопедия Забайкалья |language=Russian |trans-title=Kuanda, river|url=http://ez.chita.ru/encycl/concepts/?id=2473|accessdate=12 July 2023}}</ref><ref name="GЕ"/>
===Tributaries=== The longest tributaries of the Kuanda are the {{convert|127|km}} long Syulban (Сюльбан) and the {{convert|88|km}} long Kuda Malaya on the right, as well as the {{convert|68|km}} long Namarakit and the {{convert|65|km}} long Eimnakh on the left.<ref name=gvr/>
