==Biography== She won the gold medal at the 2001 World Youth Championships. She finished ninth at the 2002 World Junior Championships, fourth at the 2006 Commonwealth Games, fifth at the 2006 IAAF World Cup and sixth at the 2009 World Athletics Final. She also competed at the 2009 World Championships without reaching the final.<ref name=bio>{{World Athletics}}</ref>
Mickle took the silver medal at the 2013 World Championships in Athletics reaching a result of 66.60 m (PB) behind Christina Obergföll.
In 2014, she won the gold medal at the Commonwealth games with a throw of 65.96 metres.

In September 2016, Mickle signed to play professional Australian rules football for the Fremantle Football Club in the inaugural season of AFL Women's in 2017.
