It is situated between the [[Boesmans River (Eastern Cape)|Bushmans]] and the [[Kariega River]]s, and lies approximately halfway between the industrial centres of [[East London, South Africa|East London]] ({{convert|180|km|mi}}) and [[Gqeberha]] ({{convert|130|km|mi}}). Kenton is part of the [[Ndlambe Local Municipality]] in the [[Sarah Baartman District Municipality]] of the Eastern Cape.
