He played for Manchester City F.C. between 1950 and 1959, appearing 197 times and scoring three goals before being transferred to Oldham Athletic A.F.C. Ken and wife Maureen had seven children, 3 sons and 4 daughters. Ken died on the night of Saturday 9 August 2008 at the age of 78 after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease.
