The [[population density]] was {{convert|1070.8|PD/sqmi|PD/km2|1}}. There were 612 housing units at an average density of {{convert|425.0|/sqmi|/km2|1}}. The racial makeup of the village was 98.7% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 0.2% [[African American (U.S. Census)|African American]], 0.1% [[Race (U.S. Census)|Pacific Islander]], 0.6% from [[Race (U.S. Census)|other races]], and 0.4% from two or more races. [[Hispanic (U.S. Census)|Hispanic]] or [[Latino (U.S. Census)|Latino]] of any race were 1.1% of the population.

There were 588 households, of which 33.7% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 61.7% were [[Marriage|married couples]] living together, 4.9% had a female householder with no husband present, 2.7% had a male householder with no wife present, and 30.6% were non-families. 28.1% of all households were made up of individuals, and 16.8% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.53 and the average family size was 3.14.

The median age in the village was 39.6 years. 26.5% of residents were under the age of 18; 5.5% were between the ages of 18 and 24; 23.1% were from 25 to 44; 27.1% were from 45 to 64; and 17.7% were 65 years of age or older. The gender makeup of the village was 48.8% male and 51.2% female.

The racial makeup of the village was 99.13% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 0.19% [[Native American (U.S. Census)|Native American]], 0.48% from [[Race (United States Census)|other races]], and 0.19% from two or more races. [[Hispanic (U.S. Census)|Hispanic]] or [[Latino (U.S. Census)|Latino]] of any race were 0.78% of the population.

There were 385 households, out of which 37.9% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 63.9% were [[Marriage|married couples]] living together, 7.8% had a female householder with no husband present, and 26.2% were non-families. 24.2% of all households were made up of individuals, and 15.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.68 and the average family size was 3.20.

In the village, the population was spread out, with 27.5% under the age of 18, 8.6% from 18 to 24, 30.7% from 25 to 44, 19.3% from 45 to 64, and 13.8% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 35 years. For every 100 females there were 101.4 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 97.1 males.

The median income for a household in the village was $52,411, and the median income for a family was $59,861. Males had a median income of $37,750 versus $27,065 for females. About 3.3% of families and 4.4% of the population were below the [[poverty line]], including 4.1% of those under age 18 and 7.2% of those age 65 or over.
