==Playing career== Swart received his schooling at [[Paul Roos Gymnasium]] in Stellenbosch and was selected for the {{rut|Western Province}} schools team that competed at the annual [[Craven Week]] tournament in 1990 and 1991. Swart made his [[Test match (rugby union)|test]] debut for the [[Springboks]] against the {{nrut|Fiji}} at [[Loftus Versfeld]] in 1996. At the end of 1997 he toured with the [[1997 South Africa rugby union tour of Europe|Springboks to Europe]].
