==Naval career== Educated at St Catharine's College, Cambridge, Reeve joined the Royal Navy in 1967 and specialized in engineering.<ref name=omg>[http://www.omg3d.com/html/103006.html Appointment of Non-Executive Director] {{webarchive|url=https://web.archive.org/web/20110715000258/http://www.omg3d.com/html/103006.html |date=15 July 2011 }} Oxford Metrics Group, 30 October 2006</ref> He was appointed Commander of HM Naval Base Plymouth in 1998 and, following promotion to rear admiral in 2000,<ref>Whitaker's Almanack 2001</ref> he became Change Director at Fleet Headquarters in 2000.<ref name=omg/> He went on to be Chief of Fleet Support as well as Naval Member for Logistics on the Navy Board in December 2000 before retiring in 2004.<ref name=omg/>
In retirement he became a Non-Executive Director of Oxford Metrics Group.<ref name=omg/>
