==Death== On November 19, 1969, Teege died in a [[Munich]] hospital. He had his first roles with the local Porcupines, a local cabaret group. He soon became one of Germany's most active actors and appeared in more than 20 films and countless tv features. Although his feature film roles were mostly small, he usually pleased the critics. In the main, he scored in legit plays and it was Berlin's Renaissance Theatre where he scored his biggest successes. He was at home with practically all playwrights ranging from Shakespeare to Brecht to Frisch to Ionesco and was considered a top-flight character actor and comedian.
