'''Jean Dop''' (1924–2003) was a French professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1950s. A France international representative {{rlp|sh}}, he played club football for Marseille XIII.

Dop featured in the 1951 French rugby league tour of Australia and New Zealand, in place of injured scrum-half back Joseph Crespo. It was Les Chanticleers first such tour, but they lost only 4 of its 28 games, with Dop's dashing runs seen as instrumental in France's victory over Australia in the first Test.<ref>{{cite news | last = Goodman | first = Tom | title = Not froth and bubble | work = The Sydney Morning Herald | place =Australia | publisher = Australian Newspapers | date = 12 June 1951 | url = http://nla.gov.au/nla.news-article18221331 | accessdate = 2010-04-17}}</ref> Also during this tour in a match against South Auckland in New Zealand Dop was struck by a spectator.<ref>{{cite news | last = AAP Reuter | title = Dop hit by spectator | work = The Sydney Morning Herald | place =Australia | publisher = Australian Newspapers | date = 10 August 1951 | url = http://nla.gov.au/nla.news-article18214893 | accessdate = 2010-04-17}}</ref> He later toured with France playing at {{rlp|fb}}.<ref>{{cite book | last = John Coffey, Bernie Wood | title = 100 years: Māori rugby league, 1908–2008 | publisher = Huia Publishers | year = 2008 | pages = 145 | url = https://books.google.com/books?id=nklWo8vw-iIC | isbn = 978-1-86969-331-2 }}</ref> In 1988 he was inducted into the International Rugby League Hall of Fame.
