==History== The Jain temple was constructed in the 15th century by a family of diamond merchants from Karnataka.{{cn|date=May 2026}} It was created by Inchana Satur.<ref>{{cite book|url=https://books.google.com/books?id=nxtnsT8CdZ4C&q=palakkad+jain&pg=PA194 |title=Encyclopaedia of Tourism Resources in India – Manohar Sajnani – Google Books |isbn=9788178350189 |access-date=2013-07-20|last1=Sajnani |first1=Manohar |year=2001 |publisher=Gyan Publishing House }}</ref> The temple was in a dilapidated condition for the past several years.<ref name="indiatimes1"/> At that time, there were around 400 Jain families in Jainimedu.<ref name="thehindu2"/> The temple was renovated in 2013 and a Panch Kalyanak was performed.<ref name="thehindu1"/> M. P. This is one of the few places in Kerala where the vestiges of Jainism have survived.<ref name="google1"/>
