As of September 2025, it has hosted two Test matches, the first in 2002, and the second in 2017, both featuring the South Africa and Bangladesh national teams. The Highveld Lions also play some home matches here. The stadium is home to AFL South Africa – the Australian rules football body responsible for developing the game in that country – as well as the South African national Australian rules football team, the ''Lions''. It has previously been known as ''Senwes Park'' and ''Sedgars Park''.
