Issam Bassou (born 10 October 1998) is a Moroccan judoka. He won gold medals at the 2019 African Games and the 2018 African Judo Championships in the men's 60 kg category.[1][2] His brother Imad Bassou is also a judoka.[3]
In 2020, Bassou won the silver medal in the men's 60 kg event at the 2020 African Judo Championships held in Antananarivo, Madagascar.[4]
At the 2021 African Judo Championships held in Dakar, Senegal, Bassou won the gold medal in the men's 60 kg event.[5]
Bassou won one of the bronze medals in the men's 60 kg event at the 2022 Mediterranean Games held in Oran, Algeria.[6]
