International Democratic Party

The '''Internationalist Democratic Party''' is a small political party in the Republic of India, working in Jammu & Kashmir, Punjab and Rajasthan.<ref name=":0">{{Cite journal |last=Sheergogry |first=Nisar Ahmad |date=2019 |title=Evolution of Political Parties in the State of Jammu and Kashmir |url=https://www.jetir.org/papers/JETIR1908589.pdf |journal=Journal of Emerging Technologies and Innovative Research |volume=6 |issue=6 |pages=821–827}}</ref> The IDP was founded by R.P. Saraf, a former Communist Party (Marxist-Leninist) leader, in 1986.<ref name=":0" />

The national president of the IDP was Master Kheta Singh and general Secretary Hoshiar Singh from Samba district (J&K). Hoshiar Singh and his wife Smt. Sashi Bala were gunned down by unknown militants at 11 May 2008 in their Samba residence.{{Citation needed|date=June 2025}}

The IDP favours politics of peace.
