The '''president of the ICC''' was the highest position in the governing body of world cricket. It was largely an honorary position since changes pushed through to the ICC constitution in 2014 handed control to the so-called 'Big Three' of England Cricket Board, Board of Control for Cricket in India and Cricket Australia.<ref>{{cite web|website=ESPNCricinfo|title=ICC moves to reduce role of president|url=https://www.espncricinfo.com/ci-icc/content/story/551768.html|accessdate=27 June 2015}}</ref> In 2016, the position of the president of ICC was abolished, with the Chairman becoming an honorary position.<ref name=ICClastpres>{{cite news|title=International Cricket Council {{!}} ICC Office Bearers|url=https://www.icc-cricket.com/about/the-icc/history-of-icc/icc-office-bearers|access-date=18 August 2021|work=www.icc-cricket.com}}</ref> Zaheer Abbas served as the last president of ICC.<ref name=last>{{cite news|work=The Nation|title=Zaheer Abbas is the last ICC president|url=https://nation.com.pk/21-May-2016/zaheer-abbas-is-the-last-icc-president|date=21 May 2016|access-date=18 August 2021|language=en}}</ref>
