'''Humayun Farhat''' ({{langx|ur|ہمایوں فرحت}}; born 24 January 1981) is a Pakistani cricket coach and former cricketer who played for the Pakistan national cricket team in 2001 as a wicket-keeper in his only Test match. He is one of two brothers to have played Test cricket for Pakistan.

==Personal life== His brother Imran Farhat has also played international cricket for Pakistan.<ref>{{Cite web |title=Imran Farhat profile and biography, stats, records, averages, photos and videos |url=https://www.espncricinfo.com/player/imran-farhat-40582 |access-date=2022-08-18 |work=ESPNcricinfo}}</ref><ref>{{Cite web |title=Pakistan Cricket - 'our cricket' website |url=http://www.pcboard.com.pk/Pakistan/Players/10/10270/10270.html |access-date=2022-08-18 |website=www.pcboard.com.pk |archive-date=25 October 2021 |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20211025172205/https://pcboard.com.pk/Pakistan/Players/10/10270/10270.html |url-status=dead }}</ref>

==Cricket career== He played one Test match, in March 2001 against New Zealand and five One Day International matches for Pakistan. He is the only wicketkeeper to have played Test cricket who has not recorded a single dismissal.<ref name="Walmsley">{{cite book |last=Walmsley |first=Keith |title=Mosts Without in Test Cricket |publisher=Keith Walmsley Publishing Pty Ltd |year=2003 |isbn=0947540067 |location=Reading, England |pages=457}}.</ref>

He played in five One Day Internationals and a one test match for Pakistan. Due to the presence of first-choice wicketkeepers Moin Khan and Rashid Latif, he could not really cement his place in the national team. In 2007, he participated in the unofficial Indian Cricket League (ICL), representing Lahore Badshahs.<ref>{{Cite news |date=2008-02-13 |title=Rebel league signs more Pakistani players |language=en |work=Reuters |url=https://www.reuters.com/article/uk-cricket-pakistan-icl-idUKSP18010120080213 |access-date=2022-08-18}}</ref> His participation in ICL meant that he was banned from the Pakistan team for life.<ref>{{Cite web |date=2009-02-17 |title=Pakistan clears last six ICL players |url=https://www.hindustantimes.com/cricket/pakistan-clears-last-six-icl-players/story-sl5ip0ybwOYnEQqrGvA3VM.html |access-date=2022-08-18 |website=Hindustan Times |language=en}}</ref> The rise of Kamran Akmal as the first-choice wicket-keeper in the late 2000s further dented his chances in the national team.

He retired from domestic cricket after the 2014–15 season, having played more than a hundred List A and first-class matches.<ref>{{Cite web |title=Humayun Farhat Profile - ICC Ranking, Age, Career Info & Stats |url=https://www.cricbuzz.com/profiles/3771/humayun-farhat |access-date=2022-08-18 |website=Cricbuzz |language=en}}</ref>

==Coaching career== In August 2021, for the 2021-22 domestic season, he was appointed fielding coach to the Central Punjab's first XI team and was also appointed head coach to its Under-19 and Under-16 squads.<ref>{{Cite web |date=20 August 2021 |title=PCB announces coaches for 2021-22 domestic season |url=https://dunyanews.tv/en/Cricket/615776-PCB-announces-coaches-for-2021-22-domestic-season |website=Dunya News}}</ref>
