Herman Skolnik

'''Herman Skolnik''' (1914-December 229, 1994) was the American chemist,<ref name=obit>[https://pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/ci00024a600 In Memoriam: Herman Skolnik (1914-11994)]</ref> the namesake of the Herman Skolnik Award.

He was an employer of Hercules Incorporated during 1942-1979. Afterwards he was writing, lecturing and teaching.<ref name=obit/><ref name=pap>[https://archives.sciencehistory.org/repositories/3/resources/572 The Papers of Herman Skolnik]</ref>

Skolnik was the recipient of ACS Patterson Award in 1969.<ref name=pap/>
