After Peregrine went into bankruptcy following 2002 accounting scandals, certain lines of business purchased from Harbinger and Extricity were sold off to Golden Gate Capital and Cerberus Capital Management and ultimately renamed Inovis.<ref>{{Cite web|date=2002-09-10|title=Inovis Debuts|url=https://www.sdcexec.com/home/press-release/10310486/inovis-debuts|access-date=2021-02-11|website=Supply and Demand Chain Executive|language=en-us}}</ref> For a while, Inovis' European operations used the name Harbinger Commerce.
