Gunadie has worked in post-production on several Canadian television productions, and he was also the Senior Coordinator, Multimedia Content for TIFF.

=="Canadian, Please" and issues of racism== Gunadie gained popularity on YouTube with the release of "Canadian, Please",<ref name="Canadian, Please YouTube video">{{cite web|last=Gunadie|first=Andrew|title=Canadian, Please|url=https://www.youtube.com/watch/mWQf13B8epw|work=YouTube.com|publisher=YouTube|accessdate=25 March 2013}}</ref> a song and music video that he co-produced with Julia Bentley, and released just before Canada Day in 2009.<ref name="'Canadian, Please' on 'A' News London">{{cite web|last='A' News London|title='Canadian, Please' on 'A' News London|url=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3a3u3UPKtGg|work=youtube.com|date=29 June 2009 |publisher=YouTube|accessdate=25 March 2013}}</ref>

In the video, the pair sing about all the reasons why one would want to be Canadian, while wearing traditional RCMP jackets. The video went viral soon after its release, and has surpassed 5 million views. On December 20, 2009, Gunadie and Bentley performed the song live at the Olympic Torch Relay in Niagara Falls, Ontario.<ref name="Canadian, Please (video) Olympic Torch Relay Niagara Falls">{{cite web|last=Chao|first=Phil|title=gunnarolla and honeychip performing "Canadian, Please" LIVE!!!|url=https://www.youtube.com/watch/_1lYfzgVXbA|work=YouTube.com|publisher=YouTube|accessdate=25 March 2013}}</ref>

Gunadie received many racist comments and threats, due to the fact that he is of visibly Asian descent. Many viewers felt that he was not an adequate representative of Canada, despite the fact that he was born, raised, and continues to live therein.<ref name="Ricepaper Magazine Interview">{{cite web|last=Tran|first=Sylvia|title=Interview with YouTuber gunnarolla|url=http://ricepapermagazine.ca/2012/07/interview-with-youtuber-gunnarolla/|work=ricepapermagazine.ca|date=26 July 2012|publisher=ricepaper|accessdate=25 March 2013}}</ref>

As a response to the criticism, Gunadie produced a video entitled "He'll Never Be a Real Canadian".<ref name="(video) He'll never be a real Canadian">{{cite web|last=Gunadie|first=Andrew|title=He'll never be a real Canadian|url=https://www.youtube.com/watch/CCXqOFjsiZs|work=YouTube.com|publisher=YouTube|accessdate=25 March 2013}}</ref> Issues of race and stereotypes have since become a theme in Gunadie's work. His experience with racism was featured on a segment of "Online Uncovered" on CBC's Connect with Mark Kelley.<ref name="Racism Interview, Connect with Mark kelly">{{cite web|last=Hollet|first=Jennifer|title=Racism online|url=http://www.cbc.ca/player/News/TV+Shows/Connect+with+Mark+Kelley/ID/1506128667/|work=cbc.ca|publisher=CBC/Radio-Canada|accessdate=25 March 2013}}</ref>

"Canadian, Please" was later featured in the YouTube video "Canadian Dances Moves" which also went viral.<ref name="Huffington Post dance moves">{{cite web|last=Lau|first=Andree|title=Canadian Dance Moves Strangely Hypnotic (VIDEO)|url=http://www.huffingtonpost.ca/2012/09/24/canadian-dance-moves-youtube_n_1911256.html|work=huffingtonpost.ca|date=24 September 2012|publisher=The Huffington Post B.C.|accessdate=25 March 2013}}</ref>
