The '''Gondoid languages''' are a subgroup of the indigenous family that includes Gondi and related languages. Gondi proper is the most widely spoken language, with over 10 million speakers.<ref>{{Cite web|url=http://www.unesco.org/culture/languages-atlas/en/atlasmap/language-id-1586.html|title=UNESCO Atlas of the World's Languages in danger|website=www.unesco.org|language=en|access-date=2017-12-22}}</ref> Other languages in this subgroup include Muria, Madiya, and Koya. It is undetermined whether Pardhan is a separate language or a dialect of Gondi, although current fieldwork suggests it is a dialect.<ref>{{Cite CiteSeerX |title=A Sociolinguistic Survey Among the Pardhan Community of Central India|last1=Thangmulian|first1=Valte|last2=Mathai|first2=Elrose K. |last3=George|first3=Symon |date=August 2008 |citeseerx = 10.1.1.559.17}}</ref> Khirwar is a poorly-attested language spoken by people in the general Gond area, and so is assumed to be related to Gondi.
