==Professional career== Morandi is a youth product of Ascona, [[AC Bellinzona|Bellinzona]], [[FC Lugano|Lugano]] and [[Grasshopper Club Zürich|Grasshopper]]. In February 2021, he suffered an injury to his cruciate ligament and was out of action for the remainder of the season. He quickly established himself as a mainstay in the first team's lineup for the remainder of the season.
