== Biography == Matchitt was born and raised in Rotorua,<ref name="findnza">{{cite web |title=Matchitt, Gina |url=https://findnzartists.org.nz/artist/9654/gina-matchitt |website=Find NZ Artists |accessdate=16 November 2019}}</ref> and graduated from Unitec Institute of Technology with a diploma in design (jewellery) in 1994.
