'''Levens''' is a village and civil parish in Westmorland and Furness, Cumbria. It lies within the historic county of Westmorland. In the 2001 census the parish had a population of 1,007,<ref>{{NOMIS2001|id=16UG041|title=Levens Parish|access-date=8 May 2021}}</ref> increasing at the 2011 census to 1,049.<ref name=census2011>{{NOMIS2011|id=E04002624|title=Levens Parish|access-date=8 May 2021}}</ref> The village lies {{convert|4|mi|km|spell=in}} south of Kendal off the A6 and A590 roads. ==Governance== An electoral ward in the same name exists. This ward stretches from Helsington, then south to Heversham.
