He was one of the key players of Malavan reaching the third place in the Iranian [[Iran Pro League|Takht Jamshid]] in [[1977–78 Takht Jamshid Cup|1978]]. [[1973–74 Takht Jamshid Cup|1974]] and [[1976–77 Takht Jamshid Cup|1977]] he was the second best scorer of the [[Iran Pro League|Iranian league]]. == International career == Jahani was a member of the [[Iran national football team|Iran national team]] winning the football tournament of the [[Football at the 1974 Asian Games|Asian Games in Tehran in 1974]] as well as participating in [[Football at the 1976 Summer Olympics|1976 Olympics in Montreal]], when Iran reached the quarterfinals of the [[1976 AFC Asian Cup|Asian Cup 1976 in Tehran]].
