Garakan (Persian: گركان)[a] is a village in, and the capital of, Garakan Rural District of the Central District of Ashtian County, Markazi province, Iran.[1]
Demographics
Population
At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 799 in 245 households.[2] The following census in 2011 counted 692 people in 232 households.[3] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 660 people in 221 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.[4]
