'''Galkhaite''' is a rare and chemically complex sulfosalt mineral from a group of natural thioarsenites. Its formula is {{chem2|(Cs,Tl)(Hg,Cu,Zn)6(As,Sb)4S12}}, making the mineral the only known natural Cs-Hg and Cs-As phase. It occurs in Carlin-type hydrothermal deposits.<ref>{{cite web|title=Galkhaite|url=http://www.handbookofmineralogy.org/pdfs/galkhaite.pdf|website=handbookofmineralogy.com|publisher=Handbook of Mineralogy (original description by Gruzdev et al. 1972)|access-date=October 3, 2020}}</ref><ref>{{cite web|title=Galkhaite|url=http://www.mindat.org/min-1643.html|website=mindat.org|publisher=Hudson Institute of Mineralogy|access-date=October 3, 2020}}</ref><ref>{{cite web|title=Galkhaite Mineral Data|url=http://webmineral.com/data/Galkhaite.shtml|website=webmineral.com|publisher=David Barthelmy|access-date=October 3, 2020}}</ref><ref>{{cite journal|last1=Arehart|first1=G.B.|last2=Chakurian|first2=A.M.|last3=Tretbar|first3=D.R.|last4=Christensen|first4=J.N.|last5=McInnes|first5=B.A.|last6=Donelick|first6=R.A.|title=Evaluation of Radioisotope Dating of Carlin-Type Deposits in the Great Basin, Western North America, and Implications for Deposit Genesis|url=https://pubs.geoscienceworld.org/segweb/economicgeology/article/98/2/235/22278/Evaluation-of-Radioisotope-Dating-of-Carlin-Type|journal=Economic Geology|date=2003|volume=98|issue=2 |pages=235–248|doi=10.2113/gsecongeo.98.2.235 |bibcode=2003EcGeo..98..235A |access-date=October 3, 2020|url-access=subscription}}</ref>
